What am I doing

I JUST got photoshop cc a few days ago and now I'm just experimenting around and daMN PHOTO EDITING IS REALLY FUN my boyfriend showed me how to "fix" photos last night so of course I use those skills to create a messed up photo instead ahaha xD Anyways yeah this is basically me fooling around on photoshop. This is the second thing I've made, and I'm looking for any tips or hints you guys can give me to improve! Also, I left the label at the bottom because I pulled this image from google- I technically don't know how free it is or isn't, so I want to give credit where it's due. I can't remember where I pulled the texture from though, but I know that one was free-use anyways, so...
